Pompey Creek Ranch is a family owned and operated ranch located in Southern Mills County on the northern edge of the scenic Texas Hill Country. The ranch adopts its name from the rock bluffed Pompey Creek that meanders through the property. Our upland game bird and working cattle ranch was founded in 2010 by the Williams family, Tom and Sandy Williams, and their daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Mason Spradlin. The ranch is comprised of approximately 1,000 acres of pristine hill country habitat made up of rolling bluestem covered hills, live oaks, scattered cedars, and mesquite. Along with the hill country wildlife we have a herd of Texas Longhorn cattle that call the ranch home.
While deer and turkey are plentiful on the ranch and available to hunt, our main focus is on providing great upland bird hunting. Our hunting fields are set up to provide challenging upland bird hunting over quality gun dogs for all skill levels. Whether you are a first-time novice bird hunter or a seasoned veteran, our goal is to provide an exciting and fulfilling experience. While the main goal is hunting, the ranch is blessed with a unique topography that provides for beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, which makes the atmosphere during the hunting experience even more enjoyable.
